The Accelerator is intended for technologies with clear energy efficiency potential that are not yet ready to scale. This includes solutions that still require piloting, verification, or operational testing. Technologies that are already verified and commercially ready fall outside the scope of the programme.
Who owns the pilot project - Njord or the supplier?
The suppliers owns the technologies and the pilot scope. Njord facilitates and supports execution through referrals, verification, and vessel access.
Is there a cost to utilize in Njord Accelerator?
Yes. Njord charges a service fee for advisory, verification, or integration work. Fee structures vary depending on the support requested and are defined in each engagement.
What happens if a technology is successfully integrated in a pilot?
If a supplier’s solution is successfully integrated, the technology becomes part of Njord’s core portfolio, and can be part of the technology suggestions we offer our clients.
Do Njord recommend suppliers to investors or owners?
Yes. We refer technologies to our network when there is a strategic fit, with clear criteria around performance, scalability, and alignment with industry needs.
