Which technologies do you propose?

We focus on technologies that deliver measurable improvements in fuel savings, emissions reduction, and vessel performance. Our portfolio includes a mix of proven and emerging solutions that we’ve selected based on real-world results. We’re continuously expanding it to ensure we’re always ready to apply the right technology to the right vessel at the right time.

What kind of service providers do you work with?

We work with trusted partners who can help bring solutions to life onboard. That includes retrofit installers, engineering designers, and data specialists, anyone who plays a key role in delivering and verifying the performance of a solution. We coordinate these efforts to ensure every project moves smoothly from planning to execution to measurable results.

What does a typical partnership with Njord look like?

To conduct a comprehensive Technology Screening, we require information about your fleet, including vessel specifications, operational patterns, and existing technologies. This information enables us to accurately assess potential fuel savings and identify the most suitable technologies for each vessel. By understanding your fleet's specifics, we can tailor our solutions to maximise efficiency and sustainability.

Does a technology need to be fully mature to collaborate?

Not necessarily. We work with solutions at all stages of development. Through our Njord Accelerator, we evaluate early-stage technologies in real vessel scenarios and help develop a path to market. Whether a solution is installation-ready or still being validated, we offer the structure and expertise to test, refine, and scale it.

How do I start working with Njord?

It starts with a conversation. Tell us where you see alignment between your solution and the challenges we solve at sea. We’ll help map out how your technology or service fits into our project pipeline and explore opportunities to move forward, whether through a pilot, a full retrofit, or strategic collaboration.
