Caroline Evert is Business Excellence & Compliance Manager at Njord, where she leads the company’s EU compliance, digital marketing, and AI-driven business development functions across multiple international locations. She is responsible for ensuring regulatory alignment, advancing digital transformation initiatives, and supporting the company’s strategic growth within the maritime industry.
With experience spanning regulatory affairs, strategic business development, marketing, and organizational leadership, Caroline brings expertise in leveraging emerging technologies, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making to support business growth and industry advancement. Her expertise combines commercial insight with a strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks, digital innovation, and international business development.
Her role sits at the intersection of regulation, operations, and commercial delivery, helping clients navigate compliance while improving vessel performance through data-driven insights and energy efficiency technologies.
Prior to her current role, Caroline played an active role in supporting the acquisition of Njord by V.Group, contributing to the due diligence process through the preparation and provision of financial, commercial, and organizational information. Her work helped facilitate a successful transaction and supported the subsequent integration process.
She holds a degree in Global Business Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
