Frederik Pind is Managing Director at Njord, where he is responsible for leading the company’s overall strategy, commercial direction, and organizational development within the maritime energy efficiency sector.
At Njord, he plays a central role in aligning technical, commercial, and operational decision-making, ensuring that the company’s solutions translate complex regulatory and performance challenges into clear, actionable strategies for shipowners and fleet operators.
With more than a decade of experience in shipping, Frederik is passionate about maritime decarbonization, vessel optimization, and the adoption of energy efficiency technologies. He works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support scalable implementation of solutions that improve fleet performance and reduce emissions.
Before joining Njord, he built extensive experience in maritime leadership and strategic roles, developing a strong understanding of global shipping operations, commercial frameworks, and industry transformation.
Frederik is a graduate of the Royal Danish Military Academy (Commissioned as 1st Lieutenant).
